COURSES

Many individuals struggle periodically with issues around conflict, imposter syndrome, performance anxiety and decision making. Whilst some people have learnt the skills and techniques to help them overcome these issues, others continue to navigate their way through life, struggling where they don’t need to.

WORKSHOPS

If you are one of these people who struggle in any of the aforementioned area’s then why not join one of the workshops below. Each workshop is held twice a year and can be taken either as a stand-alone workshop or as part of a four-part series. For more details and to book yourself on one or all of the workshops, see below.

  • NAVIGATING CONFLICT

Conflict is a common challenge for people in both their professional and personal lives, but many find conflict difficult to navigate. In this workshop, attendees will gain insight into conflict and how their surroundings and culture shape their perspective on it. Attendees will learn how to identify the four principal causes of conflict escalation, acquiring the skills to deescalate the conflict for a healthy resolution. Participants will learn to distinguish perpetual and situational problems and resolve conflicts in both.

  • OVERCOMING IMPOSTER SYNDROME

    OVERCOMING IMPOSTER SYNDROME

Roughly 70% of individuals experience imposter syndrome at some point in their lives, with that percentage only increasing in the digital age. In this session, we explore the five fundamental ways imposter syndrome shows up, understand their causes, and examine the resulting values, beliefs, and behaviours. Participants will then explore a variety of solutions that can be implemented in their daily lives, helping them to work through and eventually overcome their imposter syndrome.

  • GETTING TO GRIPS WITH PERFORMANCE ANXIETY

From speaking in a meeting to standing in front of an audience giving a speech, performance anxiety can arise in several ways. Fear and overwhelm can manifest, resulting in a flight to safety, analysis paralysis and a range of other negative responses, adversely affecting an individual. In this session, attendees will learn about the causes of performance anxiety and the M&M Technique used to combat it. Participants will explore each of the 6 M's in the M&M Technique to reduce anxiety levels and boost confidence, enabling a better performance within the setting/s their performance anxiety arises.

  • BECOMING AN EFFECTIVE DECISION MAKER

    BECOMING AN EFFECTIVE DECISION MAKER

On average, a human makes roughly 35,000 decisions each day, and whilst many of those decisions are small, everyday decisions, some decisions can completely alter the trajectory of a campaign, career, business, or your life. For those bigger decisions, whether in an individual or group setting, coming to an informed conclusion isn’t always easy. Decision-making strategies, like a SWAT analysis, don’t always cut the mustard. In this session, we introduce a simple yet effective decision-making tool; the six-hat approach, helping individuals and teams to reach informed decisions more efficiently, creating more effective decision makers.
